The appearance of the new B-segment SUV in the Honda HR-V class has not changed drastically. When the shroud was opened, it was still easy to recognize that this was Seltos. Still adopting the "Opposites United" design language. Its identity is reflected in the shape of the main light. As if it hasn't changed. Still carrying high-tech elements and futuristic abstract style designs.
If you look closely, some details change. For example, DRL luminescence that forms a triangular corner at the end. Then the line is made to blend with the chrome bars on the grille. The shape of the grille has changed slightly. Still characterizes the Tiger Nose, but the pattern inside is a mesh shape. Plus a silver frame on the edge similar to a Sonet. The Sonet's design has influenced the Seltos changes quite a bit. For example, a U-shaped silver skid plate that frames the front air dam.
The other most obvious is the hood. The end does not reach the facade area. Instead, it leaves an area filled with the latest Kia logo. Then the curve of the side line is also made more assertive. So that it looks more integrated with the front and rear lights. The line of the shoulders up remains the same. Characteristic of the chrome accents on the D pillar as a liaison with the roof line. Then the shape of the taillights changed almost completely. Now fully expanded with star-map graphics. The new 18-inch rim design, which is similar to that of the Hyundai Ioniq 5 Prime type, completes the new look of the
Seltos.
The interior has undergone no less changes. Two monitors still in one big panel. But now it is made similar to the Sportage dashboard. It measures 10.25-inches for the instrument cluster and 10.25-inches also for infotainment. The center console area is also all-new. Especially the loss of the transmission lever to change the knob as a transmission regulator. The addition is also ambient lighting such as Sonet. Can be set at will or adjust the rhythm of the music.
Kia has yet to release technical specifications. The possibility is still the same as the previous model. The 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol option is still available with 115 PS plus 144 Nm of torque. The 1.4-liter turbo unit makes 140 PS and 242 Nm of torque. And a 1.4-liter diesel 115 PS and 250 Nm. Both are also available in the Indonesian market.
