All New Honda HR-V Offered In Four Variants, What's The Difference?

 The All New Honda HR-V is Honda's newest model in Indonesia. Products that enter the medium SUV class are offered with updates to the engine as well as design and technology for Indonesian consumers.

The latest generation of HR-V was introduced on Wednesday (23/3/2022) virtually. This latest model is also offered in four variants namely 1.5L S, 1.5L E, 1.5L SE and the top variant 1.5L Turbo RS. All these variants are offered in a modern CVT transmission option.

“The Honda HR-V was introduced in Indonesia at the right time, where the medium SUV segment began to grow because it was driven by a new generation of younger consumers who wanted an SUV model that was more compact, stylish, sophisticated but still powerful to support their dynamic lifestyle. With various changes in terms of appearance, technology, and engine, we believe the All New Honda HR-V will continue to be a favorite of consumers in Indonesia.” said Yusak Billy, Business Innovation and Sales & Marketing Director of PT HPM on the sidelines of the launch of the latest HR-V.

So what are the differences between each variant? First of the cheapest variant S CVT. This variant is equipped with full LED headlights which are paired with LED DRL features. There are also wide taillights with a three-dimensional design that creates a wide impression. The S variant comes with a body color door mirror plus a handle, shark fin antenna and 17-inch rims.

Inside, there is a 4.2-inch TFT interactive screen. Air Diffusion Outlet, Auto A/C, Driver Auto Power Window, Driver Seat Height Adjuster, Hands-Free Telephone & Audio Steering Switches, LED Map Light, Fabric Seat, Dual Rear USB Charger, 4 Speakers and 7” Capacitive Touchscreen Display Audio , AM/FM Radio, Bluetooth, Hands-Free Telephone, Voice Command Switch, USB Player, Smartphone Connection (with additional cable for mirroring).

The standard variant features which are priced at IDR 355.9 million include complete Honda Sensing, Walk-Away Auto Lock, Auto Door Lock by Speed, EPB + ABH, ABS + EBD + BA, Vehicle Stability Assist, Hill Start Assist, Hill Descent Control, Emergency Stop Signal, 4 Airbags, Rear Parking Sensor, Immobilizer, Alarm System, Rear Seat Reminder, Rear Parking Camera and ECO Assist.

Regarding the engine, the All New Honda HR-V uses a 1.5 liter DOHC i-VTEC 4 cylinder engine that produces 121PS of power at 6,600 rpm with a maximum torque of 145 Nm at 4,300 rpm.

Next is the 1.5L E CVT variant which is priced at IDR 379.9 million. This variant has all the features of the S variant. Plus there is a grille in the same color as the body, remote engine start, painted fog & bumper garnish, Auto Foldable Door Mirror with LED Turning Signal, Leather-Fabric Combi Seat, Paddle Shift, Leather-Wrapped Steering Wheel & Shift Knob, Rear A/C Ventilation and Rear Seat Armrest with Cup Holder.

In the 1.5L SE CVT variant which is priced at Rp. 399.9 million, it is more premium. This variant has the completeness of the E variant plus a grille that matches the body color, sequential LED turning signal, panoramic glass roof, LED fog light, 18-inch alloy rims with a sporty design, Piano Black Power Window Panel, Vanity Mirror with Lamp, Honda LaneWatch, Electrostatic Touch LED Map Light, Multi-Angle Rear View Camera and 8-inch Capacitive Touchscreen Display Audio, USB Port, Bluetooth, Hands-Free Telephone, AM/FM Radio, MP3/WMA, Smartphone Connection, WebLink (with additional cable for mirroring ).

The top variant, the 1.5L Turbo RS, is offered at a price of IDR 499.9 million. This variant features the SE variant with an additional 1.5L VTEC Turbo engine. This engine produces 177 PS of power at 6,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 240 Nm at 1,700-4,500 rpm. To further add to the sensation of driving, there are 3 driving options, namely Sport, Normal and Econ.

There are additional stylish Aero Kit RS, Dual Chrome Exhaust Pipe Finisher, Stylish Black Interior and Leather-Trimmed Seat with Red Stitches, Door Upper Soft Pad, Leather-Wrapped Steering Wheel, 7 inch Interactive TFT Meter Cluster, 4-Speakers + 2 Tweeters , 3-Mode Drive System (Sport, Normal, ECON), Hands-Free Access Power Tailgate + Walk-Away Close and 6 Airbags.

The Honda Sensing feature is embedded in these four variants. This feature provides comprehensive protection and provides automatic warnings to reduce the risk of accidents. Honda Sensing consists of Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS), Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS), Road Departure Mitigation System (RDM), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Low Speed ​​Follow, Auto-High Beam, and Lead Car Departure Notification System ( LCDN). The previous Honda Sensing technology has also been applied to models such as the Honda Odyssey, Honda Accord, All New Honda Civic RS, Honda CR-V and All New Honda BR-V.

Prospective customers can already order the latest HR-V starting today. Honda revealed the annual target for this medium SUV is 35,000 per year. For this month, Honda plans to make 1,300 units of the new HR-V and will increase production in the future.
