Toprak Razgatlioglu's success in winning the World Superbike (WSBK) world title at Pertamina Mandalika International Street Circuit, Mataram, also had an impact on other titles for the Pata Yamaha team with Brixx WorldSBK. After 12 years of waiting, Yamaha finally managed to bring not one title, but three champions in the 2021 WSBK season.

Toprak secured victory by getting 30 points more than his nearest rival, Jonathan Rea of Kawasaki who also has six WSBK world titles. The certainty of victory was obtained by Toprak after finishing second in the first Race which was postponed due to heavy rain at the new circuit.

Toprak's achievement was followed by his teammate Andrea Lovatelli who earned fourth place. This means that the Pata Yamaha team managed by Paul Denning and Crescent Racing becomes the team champion for the 2021 season. In race 2, although Toprak only finished in fourth position but this was enough to make Yamaha the 2021 WSBK construction champion. This is the second achievement during WSBK with the last time the champion was in 2007.

"It's been an incredible season. It's an emotional moment. Toprak also works hard and what he's done this season is very special. He had a hard time falling but then got up and made no mistakes for 37 races. I feel this team deserves this title," Paul said.

After 12 years of failing to win the title from Yamaha riders, most recently Ben Spies in 2009, and 14 years without a manufacturing title, Yamaha deserves pride this season. In addition to the titles obtained by Yamaha in WSBK, Yamaha is also entitled to claim the Independent Team and Rider Champhionship titles through the GRT Yamaha WorldSBK team and Garret Gerloff.

In the WSPP class, the Ten Kate Racing Yamaha team also brought the world title through its rider Aegerter. The 31-year-old Swiss is in his first season at WSPP after previously competing in Moto2 and locking up the title. Aegerter bagged 10 wins in 21 races with 14 podiums.

This result makes Aegeter again trusted to become a Ten Kate Yamaha rider next season. Aegerter's victory became Ten Kate's 10th title in the WSPP class.

Yamaha completed the title in 2021 with victories in all world competitions. MotoGP with Fabio Quartararo, Jake Gagne in MotoAmerica, Katsayuki Nakasuga in Japan and Tarran McKenzie in British Superbike. It's been a sensational season for Yamaha
